Breathing to Cool your Body Down: Sitali Pranayama

Hello!

We’re now in the first days of August and it is HOT in Mallorca! This is why I want to introduce you to this simple breathing technique, to help your body cool down, it is called Sitali Pranayama!

This is a great breath to do to cool your body down, but also your mind so if you’re facing emotions such as anger you should give it a go.

It will also give you power, strength and vitality and it has a purifying effect.

You can find the written instructions below and the instructions in Spanish in this short video (50s).

Breathing: Roll your tongue like in the video or make a tight “o” with your lips if you cannot. Inhale through the tongue or the lips and Exhale through the nose.
Time: Go on for 3 minutes. You can also do it 26 times in the morning and 26 times at night. If you do it 108 times you will enter in a deep and powerfully healing meditation for your body and digestive system.
Comments:  At the beginning the tongue might have a bitter taste, but it will eventually become sweet.
